↳ Catalog Armor terms of service
Clear terms for catalog protection.
These terms govern a merchant's use of the Catalog Armor Shopify app operated by SolidCraftLabs. Installing or using Catalog Armor means the merchant accepts these terms.

01
Eligibility and account authority
You must have authority to install apps and grant permissions for the Shopify store you connect. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for activity performed by your authorized staff.
02
The service
Catalog Armor provides catalog snapshots, monitoring, alerts, and merchant-confirmed restoration of supported Shopify fields. Features, limits, verification cadence, and history retention depend on the active plan and the permissions granted by the merchant.
Catalog Armor is an additional recovery and monitoring layer, not a substitute for Shopify, business continuity planning, access control, or independent records required by law. A restore can be affected by later store changes, Shopify API availability, permissions, and resource dependencies.
03
Acceptable use
You may use Catalog Armor only for lawful store-management purposes. You may not probe or disrupt the service, bypass plan or security controls, access another merchant's data, introduce malicious code, resell the service without permission, or use it to violate Shopify's terms or another person's rights.
04
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Catalog Armor may offer free and paid plans. When a paid plan is available, its price, billing interval, trial, limits, and material terms are displayed through Shopify before approval. Shopify processes app charges and invoices. Do not send payment-card details to SolidCraftLabs.
You can change or cancel an available plan through Shopify. Removing the app ends new protection activity and starts the data-handling process described in the Catalog Armor privacy policy. Amounts already charged are handled under Shopify's billing rules and applicable law.
05
Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing rules, alerts, snapshots, restore selections, and results; testing material restorations; maintaining appropriate Shopify permissions; and confirming that your use of the app complies with laws and obligations applicable to your business.
06
Availability and changes
We work to operate Catalog Armor reliably, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may maintain, secure, change, or discontinue features. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice of a material change that reduces paid functionality.
07
Intellectual property
SolidCraftLabs owns Catalog Armor and its original software, design, documentation, and branding. Merchants retain their rights in store data. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process store data to provide, secure, and support the service.
08
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Catalog Armor is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. SolidCraftLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.
To the extent permitted by law, SolidCraftLabs' aggregate liability arising from Catalog Armor will not exceed the amount paid for the app during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
09
Termination
You may stop using Catalog Armor at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment, or platform requirement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
10
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Questions may be sent to support@solidcraftlabs.com. Read the Catalog Armor privacy policy for data-handling details.
