Create and manage QR codes
Choose a destination, select static or dynamic behavior, and manage your QR library.
Create a code
Choose one code or a campaign
Use Single QR for one destination. Use Campaign for several related destinations with shared organization and reporting.
Select dynamic or static
Choose Dynamic when you need scan reporting or may change the destination later. Choose Static for permanent information stored directly in the image.
Choose a destination
Select a published Shopify product or variant, or another supported destination. Campaign creation accepts up to 25 destinations in one submission.
Design and test
Choose your available colors, shape, frame, and logo options. Create the code, download SVG or PNG, and perform a real test scan.
Dynamic versus static
| Capability | Dynamic | Static |
|---|---|---|
| Destination | Managed through a Qrivo link | Stored directly in the QR image |
| Scan reporting | Yes | No |
| Pause or reactivate | Yes | No |
| Change after printing | When included in your plan | No |
| Expiration or scheduled routing | When included in your plan | No |
| Best for | Packaging, campaigns, menus, and long-lived print | Contact, Wi-Fi, text, or other fixed information |
Plan for change
A static code cannot be changed after it is printed. If the destination may change, use a dynamic code.

The Merchant API can create url or fulfillment destinations. Use Shopify Admin for product pickers, cart and checkout, landing pages, order status, messaging, Wi-Fi, GS1, and digital product passports.
Manage your library
Open QR codes to search and filter your codes by status or destination type.
- Download an SVG for scalable print or a high-resolution PNG for common design tools.
- Pause a dynamic code to stop redirects without changing the printed image.
- Reactivate an eligible paused dynamic code.
- Edit a dynamic destination, note, design, expiration, or schedule when your plan allows it.
- Inspect QR-level analytics to review performance.
Static codes remain visible for reference and download, but their encoded content cannot be edited, paused, or tracked.
Safely change a destination
- Open the dynamic QR code from your library.
- Enter the new secure destination and save.
- Scan the original printed code and confirm the new page opens.
- Check analytics after a short processing delay.
