Plans and limits
Understand how the current plan controls retained history, protected resources, monitoring, and restore capacity.
Catalog Armor shows the active plan and measured usage inside Shopify Admin. The current plan can limit:
- Protected products and collections.
- Monitored resources and rules.
- Retained backup history and storage.
- Capture and restore operation size.
When a limit is reached
Catalog Armor preserves existing records according to retention policy but can pause or reject new plan-governed work. The interface identifies the affected allowance so the merchant can reduce coverage or choose an available plan when billing is offered.
Changing plans
Plan changes use Shopify's approval flow. Do not assume a plan changed until Shopify returns the merchant to Catalog Armor and the app reports the new active plan.
Cancellation and uninstall
Merchants can change plans through the app when plan management is available and can uninstall through Shopify Admin. See the Terms of Service for billing, cancellation, and service conditions.
