Troubleshooting
Resolve common access, event, snapshot, alert, and restore problems.
The app does not open
Open Catalog Armor from Shopify Admin rather than a saved iframe URL. If the embedded session still fails, refresh Shopify Admin and confirm the app remains installed.
Health reports missing access
Review the access Shopify displays for the installed app. Access changes can require reopening or reinstalling the app through the approved Shopify flow.
A snapshot is not appearing
Confirm the resource is covered by a protection policy, the plan has available capacity, and backup workers are healthy. Newly protected resources require a successful capture before history appears.
A rule does not create an alert
Check that the rule is enabled, targets the expected resource type, and has complete data for evaluation. Unknown or incomplete snapshots intentionally preserve the previous alert state.
A restore result is unclear
Reopen the restore operation status. Do not submit the same field repeatedly after a timeout; Catalog Armor tracks an idempotency key and checks the recorded operation.
